CodeRetreat, July 11, Farmington, MI

We'll be holding another Michigan-based CodeRetreat, this time likely at Gale/Cengage Learning in Farmington, MI.

See as many of you as possible there!

This will be another Java CodeRetreat, and again likely Conway's Game of Life (OR, perhaps) the ClosestToZero exercise from the http://www.betterprogrammer.com/ site.

-- breakfast
-- introduce CodeRetreat (why, what, how)
-- introduce the Conway Game of Life problem domain
-- start test-driving
-- break periodically for retrospectives, discussion, experiments
-- lunch
-- more test-driving
-- Some New Experiment of Some Kind (late afternoon)
-- retrospective on the day
-- beers

The plan is to have breakfast available starting at 9:00, and for us to be coding by around 9:30. :)

I would like to attend, I have not attended a code retreat yet. But I have plans this weekend. I hope it is a great time.
